Baby Room

Ok, so after having to replace some drywall due to mold, replace most of the trim, replace a few doors and tackle a few other minor projects, the baby's room is DONE! This is now the kick @%% room of the house if I do say so myself. Brandon and his dad spent 2 long days installing wainscoting and then we spent some tedious hours painting. Tip; if you ever install wainscoting, make sure you sand it before you paint it. Lesson learned! So here are a few pictures (we have added some more stuff since) of the baby room, sans any wall hangings.

Well, we just can't stop building patio's. With the back complete, we decided to create a nicer entry/walkway. After some hot and humid days digging the old entrance up, we finished the project this past weekend. All thanks to Brandon's skill!!

We tackled this project in the spring and finished the front strip this fall! I can say that despite the lack of rain this summer, the grass is still looking good. The shrubs are also looking pretty healthy!

Welcome to our newest project, the building of a patio. Brandon spent several long hot days digging out the base for the patio. We now have a great big pile of dirt! His dad was nice enough to come down to help us get the gravel (CR6) in, crush it, level it, lay down more CR6, add the stone dust and ultimately put the jig saw puzzle together!!! Now we enjoy the cooler nights outside as we burn some of the old fence wood in the the chiminaya that the prior owner left us.
