Month 2

Oh boy, this is bucking up against Month 3 and I feel like I have forgotten what happened in Month 2. I am sorry Hadley, I will make it up to you in later years. Shoes, bags, button downs... I will get with it soon!!

Month 2 flew by and maybe I am having trouble remembering because she is easier that Tucker was. We did have our moments but thanks to an altered diary diet on my behalf she is doing much better. She started to smile this month and wow, it has knocked me out. I love it and even more, I can't wait to see it everyday! What gets me even more than her smile is when Tucker joins her on the mat and I get smiles from both of them. Unfortunately I have not been able to capture these moments on camera but they are embedded in my heart! Tucker is such a wonderful brother, so gentle and kind with her. Well except for the day he dragged her off her playmat. From that point forward I have had to pay extra special attention and create some boundaries when she is on her mat. For the most part he is good about respecting her space but sometimes he just wants to curl up with her and give her LOTS of kisses. How can I refuse brotherly love?

Tucker had an adventurous month. He started camp and LOVED it! We got him his own special backpack and it is his responsibility to wear it into camp and at the end of the session, to wear it out to the car. He looks so grown up now. Yes I am shedding tears. Tucker's big outing of the month was taking Brandon on a Pirate Boat adventure for Fathers Day (95 degrees). Hadley and I were smart and stayed in the AC. According to Brandon Tucker was much more interested in looking at the boats and not so much interested in the Pirate Adventure. Maybe we will wait a couple more years before we do that again.
